Evening Sail

This collection of paintings was created over the spring through fall of 2020. I love being outside as much as possible, so I packed up my paints and took my studio outside for as long as the weather was agreeable. “En plein air” is a French phrase meaning “in the open air.”

I live in the beautiful Finger Lakes and Southern Tier region of western New York State. We are blessed with lakes, waterfalls, parks, and too many hiking trails to count. If you live in this region, you will recognize some of these spots. My work focuses on nature with the hope that it will encourage people to love and preserve her.
